What is StimSure?

How Does The Technology
Work?

StimSure uses Neural Muscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) technology to generate an electromagnetic field (1.0 Tesla per applicator) which stimulates the motoneuron cells in your muscles - this stimulation causes your muscles to repeatedly contract in much the same way as they would during normal exercise or activity.

A single pulse applied to muscle tissues will result in a single contraction or twitch - StimSure delivers over 24,000 of these contractions in less than 30-minutes (the equivalent of doing approximately 800 crunches!).

These prolonged contractions also creates something called a 'Maximal Tetanic Contraction' which results in a more efficient growth of muscle fibres.

When Will I See The
Results?

The results of your treatment can depend on a number of different factors, such as your objectives (ie - Shaping & Toning Muscle, vs. Building Muscle Strength & Size), your lifestyle & body composition, and the number and frequency of your treatment sessions.

We generally recommend between 6-8 treatments (twice per week), with the full results of your treatment visible 3-4 weeks after you have completed the full treatment course.

Just as with any sort of training, maintenance is key to ensuring your results last. We recommend monthly top up sessions for longer lasting results. What Does it Feel Like -
Does it Hurt?

During the procedure you will feel a series of short but intense muscle contractions, followed by a rapid 'tapping' sensation in the treatment area. This cycle continues in an 'on/off' pattern whereby your muscles contract and release repeatedly throughout the treatment.

Depending on the program and level of intensity, there may be some discomfort felt at higher intensity-levels, however StimSure is fully customisable and can be adjusted up or down to suit your level of comfort.

Following the treatment your muscles may feel slightly fatigued, similar to what you might experience after a vigorous workout.

Which Areas Can
be Treated?

The following areas can be treated with StimSure:

Arms,
Abdomen,
Thighs,
Glutes (Buttocks); and
Calves

Up to two areas can be performed on a single day, however there is a 3-day waiting period needed before the same area can be treated again.
